New Artist Plan Updates
Effective June 18, 2025, TuneCore's New Artist Plan has been discontinued so we can focus on providing best-in-class distribution services to our artists.
What if I didn't upgrade my plan before the deadline?
If you did not upgrade your Unlimited Plan before June 18th, your releases were taken down from all stores. You will not be able to upload any new releases (or make your old releases live again) until you sign up for an Unlimited Plan.

Can I make my releases live again if they were taken down because I didn't upgrade in time?
Yes, you can! After you upgrade your Unlimited Plan, contact us by logging into your TuneCore Dashboard and clicking "Chat Support" at the bottom of the screen. Please make sure to use the email address associated with your TuneCore account, let us know you upgraded your plan, and provide a list of UPCs that need to go live again. Our Artist Support team will take it from there!
Are you offering a discount for Unlimited Plans?
No, there is no discount for an Unlimited Plan at this time.
Social Platform Release Updates
Effective May 23, 2025, we are no longer supporting free distribution to our Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Music, YouTube Content ID, and CapCut).
Will my existing Social Platform-only releases be taken down?
If you did not upgrade to an Unlimited Plan before June 18th, your Social Platform-only releases will be taken down. Any releases sent to at least one Digital Store in addition to Social Platforms will not be taken down.
What if I don't want to send my release to any additional platforms?
You can still send your release to only Social Platforms, you'll just need to pay upfront to distribute your release, or you can sign up for an Unlimited Plan! Your distribution options will appear under the Release Checklist before you add the release to your cart.
