We activate opportunities only when they are expected to drive measurable growth, rather than opting tracks into every available program.

Can I use TuneCore Accelerator if I already do my own marketing and promotion?
Yes, absolutely! TuneCore Accelerator is designed to complement—not replace—your own marketing and promotion! It acts as an additional growth lever alongside your existing strategy and campaigns. Our technology activates eligible opportunities based on performance signals and platform criteria, and participation does not interfere with your independent promo efforts or release plans!
How do I know if I'm eligible for TuneCore Accelerator?
All TuneCore artists are eligible to opt in to TuneCore Accelerator! While opting in gives your tracks access to promotional opportunities, inclusion in specific campaigns or programs is not guaranteed. Tracks are selected based on program criteria and platform requirements. Our algorithm optimizes both frontline releases and back catalog tracks to maximize their discovery and long-term growth
How do I know if I've been activated in TuneCore Accelerator?
You can check your TuneCore analytics! Head to your TuneCore dashboard, navigate to the 'Money & Analytics' section, then 'TC Accelerator'. If this option does not appear in your dropdown menu, it means your tracks have not been activated in TuneCore Accelerator programs yet.
How can I track my boosted streams and earnings?
With TuneCore Accelerator, you get access to a dedicated dashboard, making everything effortless for you.
The first program added to the dashboard is Spotify Discovery Mode, and it breaks down your lifetime, monthly, and track-level metrics for releases selected for the program. We're working on adding other TuneCore Accelerator programs, so stay tuned!
There's no need to manually opt in your songs for Spotify Discovery Mode—TuneCore has already done it for you, allowing our technology to do the hard work. You can track which of your songs have been selected by Spotify directly in the TuneCore Accelerator Dashboard.
While these tracks won’t appear in Spotify for Artists, your TuneCore Accelerator Dashboard provides a clear view of which tracks were chosen, how many autoplay and radio streams they’ve gained, and the overall impact of TuneCore Accelerator on your streams. You’ll also see your streams in your Advanced Trends & Analytics dashboard.
How much does it cost to opt in to TuneCore Accelerator?
Opting into TuneCore Accelerator is free—there's no upfront cost. A 20% commission applies only to streams directly generated through active TuneCore Accelerator programs.
For Spotify Discovery Mode Activations, you'll keep 100% of your Spotify net royalties, except for streams generated in Spotify Discovery Mode contexts. For those streams only, a 20% commission is applied, but only while your track is activated. If your track isn't being promoted, no commission applies. For streams not directly resulting from promotion, no commission applies. You always retain full ownership of your music.
What if I don't see any results from TuneCore Accelerator?
Stay opted in: every month, we scan your catalog and identify promotional opportunities that are a good fit for you! You pay $0 to opt in. If there’s no lift, there’s nothing to split—no risk, no cost.
Can I choose which tracks are included in TuneCore Accelerator?
Our system automatically selects all of the tracks with potential for success. Selection is based on performance data, not guesswork. Your entire catalog is optimized, including back catalog, not just new releases. Tracks are activated strategically to maximize discovery, growth, and earnings over time. Underperforming tracks are removed to protect revenue.
How do I opt out of TuneCore Accelerator, and what happens if I opt out?
You can opt out anytime by clicking "Learn More" under the TuneCore Accelerator section at the bottom of your TuneCore dashboard! If you opt out, you cannot opt back in for 24 hours. Additionally, we'd like to make sure you know that tracks are selected ahead of time for the next month's campaign. If you opt out after your tracks were already selected for the next month's campaign (ex. March), they will be excluded from the campaigns starting the month after (ex. April).
It's also important to note that you cannot opt in to or out of any individual programs within TuneCore Accelerator. When you opt in, you are giving us permission to select tracks for promotional opportunities across TuneCore Accelerator. When you opt out, you’ll lose access to all of the TuneCore Accelerator services.
