Will my Unlimited Plan auto-renew?
Yes, on the renewal date, your Unlimited Plan will auto-renew using your payment method on file or your TuneCore balance if your saved payment method fails.
Will I be notified before my Unlimited Plan renews?
Yes, you will get a reminder email from us 28 days before and 2 days before your renewal!
Can I turn off auto-renewals for my Unlimited Plan?
No, all Unlimited Plans are set to auto-renew unless you cancel your plan renewal completely. Canceling your plan renewal means there will be no grace period, so your music will be removed from stores the day your plan expires.
How do I cancel my Unlimited Plan renewal?
You can cancel your Unlimited Plan renewal directly from your TuneCore account by following these steps:
- In Account Settings, click the "Subscriptions" tab. Next to your plan name, click "Cancel Subscription".
2. You'll be prompted to answer two questions before confirming your cancellation, then you're all set! Your Unlimited Plan will remain active until the cancellation date shown on this page.
Is there a grace period?
There is a grace period for Unlimited Plans that were not canceled. You will get an email from us every 7 days for 35 days after the renewal date to let you know that your releases will be taken down if you do not renew your plan.
During the grace period, you will not be able to upload new releases until you renew your plan. Your plan renewal will be automatically added to your cart during this time, and it is not removable.
What happens if I don't renew my plan?
We will send email reminders every 7 days for 35 days after the renewal date to let you know that your releases will be taken down if you do not renew your plan. After 42 days, your account will be downgraded, and your releases will be taken down from all stores.
I renewed my plan after the grace period, so my release was taken down. How do I make it live in all stores again?
Contact us for information on making your release live again after renewing your plan. Please include a list of the UPCs you want to make live again in your request so we can help you as efficiently as possible!
I requested a plan downgrade. How does that affect my plan renewal?
If you requested a downgrade to your Unlimited Plan, the downgrade will take effect on your renewal date. You will still need to pay for the renewal of your new plan before the end of the grace period.
If your account is no longer eligible for your requested plan, your releases will be taken down as needed to enable your downgrade. For example, Store Automator is only available for Breakout Artist and Professional Artist plans. If you requested a downgrade to Rising Artist, then added Store Automator to a new release, the release with Store Automator will be taken down to make your account eligible for the Rising Artist plan as you requested.
How do I know who my Priority Artist is?
You can see which artist is your account's Priority Artist by logging in to your TuneCore dashboard, clicking the Person Icon in the top right corner, then clicking "Account Settings". At the bottom of that page, you should see the Priority Artist section.
Can I change my Priority Artist?
Yes, you can change your account's Priority Artist! Log in to your TuneCore dashboard, click the Person Icon in the top right corner, then click "Account Settings". At the bottom of that page, you should see the Priority Artist section.
To change your Priority Artist, click "Edit", select the new Priority Artist from the dropdown menu, then click "Save Changes".
Why did my renewal cost more than the plan price?
If you're using a Professional Artist plan, your renewal includes your plan and any additional primary artists in your account! You can see the details of your invoice by logging in to your TuneCore dashboard, clicking the Person Icon in the top right corner, clicking "Account Settings", then clicking "Order History".
If you received a discount on the first year of your Unlimited Plan, the discount does not apply to renewals.
