TuneCore UPCs and ISRCs

To get a NEW TuneCore UPC

1. Create an album, single, or ringtone by clicking the "Add a release" button on your Dashboard, or click the Releases tab at the top right of your Dashboard, then click Discography. You’ll see the options for distributing an album, single, or ringtone. Select the product you want.
2. Once you enter the information on the "Create an Album/Single/Ringtone" page, leave the UPC/EAN field at the bottom blank, and click "Save"
3. A TuneCore UPC will automatically be generated for you. You'll see it on the next page of the upload process
4. Once your release is uploaded, you can find the UPC again by clicking on the release from your discography
5. On the "Album Overview" page, you'll see your UPC at the top of the page under the "Label" field

To get a NEW TuneCore ISRC

1. When uploading your release, enter the song name and other information on the "Song" section of the page
2. After you click "Save and Add Another" when entering the song details, a TuneCore ISRC will automatically be generated for you
3. Your TuneCore ISRC will be saved in your account until you're ready to upload your audio files
4. Once your release is uploaded, you can find the ISRC again by clicking on the release from your discography
5. On the release overview page, you'll see your ISRC under the "Songs" section
   
   

To add your EXISTING/OPTIONAL UPC Before Distribution

Important: This feature is only available to people using the pay-per-release model OR the Professional Unlimited Plan

1. Create an album, single, or ringtone by clicking the "Add a release" button on your Dashboard, or click the Releases tab at the top right of your Dashboard, then click Discography. You’ll see the options for distributing an album, single, or ringtone. Select the product you want.
2. Enter the information on the "Create an Album/Single/Ringtone" page
3. At the bottom of the page, enter your existing UPC in the "UPC/EAN Code" field
4. Click "Save Release and Add Songs"

To add your EXISTING/OPTIONAL ISRC Before Distribution

1. When uploading your release, enter the song name and other information under the "Songs" section of the page
2. Enter your existing ISRC in the "ISRC Number" field
3. Click "Save", and your existing ISRC will be saved until you're ready to upload your audio files
