I am a Non-U.S. client of TuneCore, is my current contract with TuneCore?
All non-U.S. client contracts are directly with Believe International, which is part of the same group as TuneCore, Inc.
Why was my contract transferred to Believe International?
Our activities have expanded into a number of new countries, and in order to be as efficient as possible we chose to consolidate all non-U.S. based client operations into Believe International. This transfer allows us to account for international transactions more efficiently, in accordance with international regulations.
Do I need to sign a new contract with Believe International?
No, your contract will transfer to Believe International automatically. Our updated terms are effective as of April 1, 2021. If you use TuneCore on or after this date, please keep in mind that you are agreeing to the updated terms.
Where is Believe International located?
Believe International is located in Luxembourg, a country where many of our store partners are located too (Apple, Spotify, etc.).
Has my contract changed?
The terms of your contract have not changed. But, as for TuneCore Inc., the general terms and conditions of your contract may be adapted from time to time in the future.
What has changed because of the transfer to Believe International?

Will there be changes to the way I use TuneCore services?
No, your TuneCore experience will remain the same.
Who should I contact when I have questions about my account or releases?
You should continue to use the same contact tools as proposed on the TuneCore website. TuneCore and Believe International will work closely to provide the best answers possible.
Are there changes to the payment/checkout process?
No, there are no changes to the current payment process. While we are constantly improving these processes, the transfer to Believe International has no impact on the current payment system.
Will I receive revenue/royalty payment from TuneCore or Believe International?
All revenue or royalties will continue to be deposited into your TuneCore account and can be withdrawn at any time. You can learn more about how to withdraw your earnings by visiting our dedicated pay out article.
If you are withdrawing your funds through Payoneer, the payee information will now say that the payment is coming from “Believe International,” not “TuneCore,” as it has previously.
Is there any influence/change to the VAT/Tax Policies?
Customers based in VAT compliant countries must comply with local tax regulations, including VAT. The TuneCore websites are compliant with local EU and Luxembourg VAT regulations.
I am based in a VAT compliant country, how will I be charged VAT?
Customers based in VAT compliant countries will be charged VAT at the time of purchase, the VAT will be automatically calculated and the price reflected on your invoice will be inclusive of any applicable VAT.
What is “Self-Billing” and should I opt into it?
If you reside outside the U.S, and you’re ready to withdraw your revenue, you will need to decide if you would like to opt into “self billing.” Believe International provides revenue invoices on behalf of each artist when they use TuneCore’s services. When you opt into self billing, Believe International takes on the work of consolidating your VAT information into a regulatory invoice so you can effortlessly withdraw your revenue using the self-serve tools in your account. The vast majority of all artists choose to opt in to self billing.
You must opt into self-billing in order to withdraw your funds.
How will I receive self-billed invoices?
Invoices for self-billed royalty revenue will be available only through your TuneCore account.
