Is Beatport included in my Unlimited Plan?
Due to its unique platform, Beatport is not included as a store in your Unlimited Plan. You'll need to pay an additional $9.99 per month, billed annually, to get your releases on Beatport through TuneCore. This cost covers all of the releases on your account.
Beatport is only available to artists with accounts subscribed to one of our Unlimited Plans.
How do I get my music on Beatport?
- Sign up for any of our Unlimited Plans
- Start uploading your single or album
- Select one of the 33 electronic dance music genres eligible for distribution to Beatport
- Select Beatport as a store, which will add an automatic annual subscription to your cart
- Finish uploading your release and completely check out
- Your music will be distributed to Beatport once it’s approved by TuneCore!
What genres are eligible for Beatport?
Only releases of the following genres will go live on Beatport:

- Amapiano (sub-genre of African)
- Afro-House (sub-genre of African)
- Dance
- Electronic, and all sub-genres under Electronic

Can I add my existing releases to Beatport?
Yes, as long as your account is on an Unlimited Plan, you can add Beatport to existing releases by going to a release page from your discography, selecting the Beatport checkbox, then checking out. You’ll need to do this for each release you want to add to Beatport.

Why is TuneCore listed as my label on Beatport?
Beatport previously only accepted curated content from labels. Due to system requirements, releases distributed to Beatport will not show the label name that is in the TuneCore system.
Releases will be sent to Beatport with the label name “TuneCore” and will be displayed under the TuneCore catalog on Beatport’s website.
Can I set the price of my release/pre-order on Beatport?
At this time, we cannot make any pricing changes or set up pre-orders for releases distributed to Beatport. The price of your release on Beatport is set automatically, and your release will become available on its release date.

Can I edit my Beatport artist page?
Yes, you can! To add a profile photo and bio to your Beatport artist page, you can submit this form. The information you submit will be sent directly to Beatport, so we can't guarantee the changes will be made. Please note: It may take several weeks for the page to update.
Unfortunately, Beatport cannot process mapping requests from us at this time. Any artists with the same name will be placed on the same Beatport artist page. If you experience issues with this, you can contact us so we can provide you with the options recommended to us by Beatport.

It can take up to 7 days for most eligible releases to go live on Beatport.
Please note: Beatport works two weeks in advance when assigning store features, meaning unfortunately anything delivered after that timeframe will not be considered for feature placements on their platform. Your release will be delivered to Beatport, just not considered for feature placements.

Beatport makes your music available to DJs and music fans via digital downloads. DJs can play your music live by subscribing to Beatport Streaming.
Pay Rate (How Much Beatport Pays You)
When a subscriber streams your music, you get paid a proportionate share of Beatport's subscription revenue per month calculated on terms set out in TuneCore's blanket agreement with the store (this usually excludes streams during a subscriber's free trial). Payments will fluctuate each month, depending on the amount of subscription revenue generated and how often your music was streamed.
