IMVU
IMVU (imvu.com) is a non-traditional music retailer, but a social avatar networking site. Through VerveLife distribution, your music will be available as both a stream and download in the IMVU Music Store. People go to IMVU, create an avatar (a graphical representation of yourself) that can wander, interact, socialize and buy virtual items and music.
How IMVU Sells Your Music
Does IMVU sell your music via?:

*These streams are not paid through TuneCore. See below for more information.
Pay Rate (How Much IMVU Pays You)
Paid Streams: Streaming tracks are purchased by users at a flat rate. An avatar can create a playlist of songs and enable other avatars to listen to it within a chat room; just like a DJ at a radio station puts together a playlist of songs for listeners to hear. When a "radio station" plays songs on the Internet, U.S. law requires you get paid. The money that is owed to you is paid to a collection agency called Sound Exchange. Sound Exchange's job is to collect the money owed to you from streams in the U.S. and then give it to you, once you register with them (registration with Sound Exchange is free). International streaming sales are handled through another company called PPL. So, money earned from streaming your music at IMVU will NOT flow through TuneCore: it will be waiting for you at Sound Exchange, and you need to be signed up with Sound Exchange to retrieve it.
Paid Downloads: In addition to streaming music, MP3 downloads are available to IMVU users for purchase in the IMVU Music Store. The wholesale cost paid to you is 70% of the retail price (i.e. if your song sells for $0.99, you get paid $0.70 for that song sale).
NOTE: IMVU Music Store does not accept any song that is 10 minutes or longer. If you have an album with a song that is 10 minutes or longer, that song will not be available in the IMVU Music Store.
Rockbot
Rockbot provides an innovative and engaging way for people to hear their favorite music at bars and restaurants. Instead of inserting money into a jukebox, customers can check into a participating venue with the Rockbot application and become a “DJ” for the venue, selecting song choices from the app entering it into a DMCA-compliant playlist that gets played through the venue’s speakers. Other DJs in the venue can also add songs to the playlist, ultimately providing a crowdsourced playlist between users under one roof. People can also vote song picks up or down, which affects DJ ratings as well as positions in line.
