TuneCore's Release Tracker shows you exactly where your release is in the distribution process and lets you share your exciting news with your fans straight from your TuneCore dashboard!
How do I find my release tracker?
Each release will have its own tracker. You can view it by going to your discography page and clicking the colorful status bubble with the arrow.
Will my existing releases have a release tracker?
Yes! Existing releases that have been submitted to TuneCore will have a release tracker, not just new releases. If your release doesn't have a tracker, it falls into one of the categories listed below.
Why doesn't my release have a tracker?
Almost all releases should have a release tracker. If your release doesn't have a tracker, it meets one of the following criteria:
- You're on a New Artist Plan
- Your release was only sent to Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Music, YouTube Content ID, and/or CapCut)
-
You haven't submitted your release for distribution yet
-Check the release page to see if you need to add it to your cart/checkout, which you'll see on the right side of the page.
If you believe your release meets all of these requirements but doesn't have a tracker, contact us and we can take a look!
I see the status of my release, but what does it mean?
You can use the sidebar of your release tracker to get more details about the release status, including any action items you may have.
Check out our article about Release Statuses for more information about release statuses and what they mean!
How do I share my release tracker with my fans?
Once your release has been sent to stores, your release tracker will update and show you the shareable graphic! You can download it as-is, or you can mix it up by adding an animated background and a snippet of your release before downloading it.
I downloaded the shareable file but can't find it. Where is it?
If you downloaded it on your mobile device, check your Files or Downloads folder, not your camera roll! The file name will contain "tunecore" and should be easy to spot. From there, you can save it to your camera roll and upload it to any social media platform you'd like!
