Pay Rate (How Much Tencent Pays You)
Paid Downloads:
Downloads are available through a selection of Tencent's partners. Payouts are based on territory-specific rates, so for songs downloaded individually in a store, you will be paid the wholesale price of Tencent's retail price calculated on terms set out in TuneCore's blanket agreement with the store.
Paid Streams:
When a subscriber streams your music, you get paid a proportionate share of Tencent's subscription revenue per month calculated on terms set out in TuneCore's blanket agreement with the store (this usually excludes streams during a subscriber's free trial). Payments will fluctuate each month, depending on the amount of subscription revenue generated and how often your music was streamed.
TenCent MuCoin & Gift
TenCent MuCoin & Gift is TenCent’s artist tipping and gift service that enables listeners to provide artists with a cash tip. This tip will be paid out through TuneCore’s regular store payout processes and will be subject to the same 2-month reporting delay as all other store revenue reports.
If you have received tips through MuCoin & Gift during the reporting period, they will appear separate from your TenCent revenue, under the line item “TenCent MuCoin” on your Music Sales dashboard. As with all of your revenue, TuneCore will never keep a percentage of your MuCoin & Gift tips.
You can withdraw tips generated via MuCoin & Gift by following the same steps as you would for any regular withdrawal.
