Shazam is the world’s leading media engagement company, with over 350 million users tagging more than 10 million tracks a day. Last year alone, over $300 million worth of digital goods sales were made through Shazam and they continue to be Apple’s largest retail partner worldwide on mobile.
Shazam also powers song identification for Siri in iOS 8
Go Live Time
It generally takes at least 24 hours for tracks to be ingested into Shazam's system. However, on some occasions, it could take longer, depending on current ingestion projects.
Note: Shazam is not a digital store, and therefore does not ingest or recognize release go-live dates. That means you may be able to find your release through Shazam before its official release date.
Shazam cannot guarantee that releases will be taken down from their platform. If you request a takedown of your release, it may still be searchable in Shazam.
