Pay Rate (How Much MusicTime Pays You)
MusicTime provides on-demand streaming or non-interactive radio access to your music through an application. Users can choose either a free, ad-supported version or a subscription option for ad-free listening and access to MusicTime on their mobile phone.
Paid Streams
For songs streamed, MusicTime pays out a royalty based on different subscription models, which you can find out about here.
Depending on the subscriber's plan with MusicTime, you get paid a proportionate share of MusicTime's subscription revenue per month or a proportionate share of the ad-revenue. The pay-out rates can fluctuate each month, depending on how much subscription revenue was generated and how often your music was streamed.
GOOD TO KNOW: We've built our TuneCore Publishing Administration to get songwriters (the person or entity that controls the copyright to the lyrics and melody of the song) all their royalties from sales and use of their songs around the world. To learn more about the additional separate royalties you earn as a Songwriter, see our Publishing Administration Help section.
