Once you have filled out all required metadata fields within the song edit, you will save your track and be prompted to upload your audio file. If you receive an error message when uploading your audio file:
- we recommend all of your audio files are in the following format: .wav, 16 bit (sample size), 44.1 kHz (sample rate), 1411 kbps (bit rate), stereo mode.
- Please make sure you are uploading from a computer (You will not be able to upload from a mobile device or tablet).
- Please make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of your web browser (i.e. Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, etc) and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Once you’ve completed the following steps, restart your browser and begin uploading again.
IMPORTANT: If you are using an online program to convert your audio into the correct format, it might be embedding extraneous coding that our system and the stores cannot recognize.
We HIGHLY recommend using iTunes to convert your audio to this recommended format: 16 bit (sample size), 44.1 kHz (sample rate), 1411 kbps (bit rate) stereo WAV files.
