TuneCore currently offers two separate services:

Music Distribution
2)
Publishing Administration
You can use one or both services. There are advantages of being a customer of BOTH (read below), but it’s completely up to you.
Music Distribution allows you to sell your recorded music in the digital online stores & streaming services and collect royalties on the sound recordings that you own or control.
Publishing Administration allows songwriters (the person(s) who wrote the underlying musical composition) to collect publishing royalties that are due from the sale and streaming and other uses of your compositions internationally.
We administer and register your works with the global performing and mechanical rights organizations and digital sources around the world, issue licenses on your behalf and collect the royalties due to you as a songwriter that are not collected and paid to you directly by your performing rights society.
