Releases
The Release Tab is the front page of your report and it lists general information.
TOTAL EARNED: Revenue amount earned in this period.
Title: Name of song/track
Type: Single or album
Monetized Videos: Number of videos available for monetization.
Monetized Views:
- A view is monetizable if an ad is placed against it or if the view comes
from a YouTube Music “paid user.” (YTAT paid users are users that have
paid a monthly fee to view YouTube without ads) - Not all views have ads against them. The ad placement depends on, among
many things:
- Territory of the viewer
- User experience (there’s a limited number of ads per viewer)
- Copyright policies
Net Revenue: The amount of money that has been deposited directly in your
TuneCore Account that was generated from your sound
recordings on YouTube.
Date Range: The starting and ending date when revenue was earned, collected
and deposited.
Filter by: this allows you to organize by Release Type (single or album) and
Releases (name of single or album).
Songs
The Songs Tab breaks down your revenue by song. This section focuses on the Song Name and Release Name. The Release name is the same name for singles. However, if the track is from an album, the album name will be listed here instead.
Tracks that haven’t been submitted for monetization will not show up on this list.
If a track doesn’t appear on YouTube at all and has never earned any money, it will not show up on this list.
Artists Tab
The Artists Tab displays revenue by artist, as the artist is defined on your release. This tab exists mostly for label managers who might have revenue from several different artists deposited into one account.
Months Tab
The Months Tab displays your YouTube revenue by reporting period.
