Pay Rate (How Much Rdio Pays You)
When a subscriber streams your music or downloads your music to their mobile device, you get paid a proportionate share of Rdio's subscription revenue per month (this excludes streams during a subscriber's free trial). The pay-out rates can fluctuate each month, depending on how much subscription revenue was generated and how often your music was streamed.
IMPORTANT: Anyone can sign up for a Rdio Free, a free trial period and get unlimited free streams for 14 days. If a customer streams your music during this period, you will not get any payment for the streams--it's considered promotional. This is a Rdio policy. If you do not like the idea of people streaming your music for free, please do not choose Rdio as one of your digital distribution stores.
