When using TuneCore, you will keep 100% of the money earned from your release within almost all of the digital stores. TuneCore does not take a percentage of your sales from digital stores. All sales will be deposited directly into your TuneCore Balance once paid out to us by the stores.
For releases on our Social Platforms (YouTube Music, YouTube Content ID, Facebook/Instagram/Reels, CapCut, and TikTok/TikTok Music/Resso) you will keep 80% of the money earned. These stores do not have any upload or renewal fees associated with them.
Generally, stores that sell music as digital downloads (like iTunes, Amazon Music, and others) keep 30% of the sale (this is called the retail markup price). You keep 70% of a sale (this is called the wholesale price).
For stores that offer full-song streaming, there is a proportionate share worked out differently for every store. Pay rates for streaming sales can vary each month. You will keep 100% of the revenue earned from streaming.
