To get a NEW TuneCore UPC
TuneCore UPCs are not generated until our Content Review team approves your release. If you do not add your own UPC during the upload process, the UPC field of your release will be blank until your release is approved and sent to stores.
- Create a release by clicking the Add Release button on your Dashboard and selecting the release type you want
- Once you enter the information on the "Create an Album/Single" page, leave the UPC/EAN field at the bottom blank, and click Save
- Continue filling out your release details and send your release for distribution
- Once your release is approved, you'll find the UPC by clicking on the release from your discography
- On the "Album Overview" page, you'll see your UPC at the top of the page under the "Label" field
To get a NEW TuneCore ISRC
- When uploading your release, enter the song name and other information in the "Song" section of the page
- After you click Save and Add Another when entering the song details, a TuneCore ISRC will automatically be generated for you
- Your TuneCore ISRC will be saved in your account until you're ready to upload your audio files
- Once your release is uploaded, you can find the ISRC again by clicking on the release from your discography
- On the release overview page, your ISRC will appear under each track in the "Songs" section, below the track title and artist name
To add your EXISTING/OPTIONAL UPC Before Distribution
Important: This feature is only available to people using pay-per-release OR the Professional Unlimited Plan
- Create a release by clicking the Add Release button on your Dashboard and selecting the release type you want
- Enter the information on the "Create an Album/Single" page
- At the bottom of the page, under "Advanced Distribution Features", enter your existing UPC in the UPC/EAN Code field
- Click Save Release and Add Songs
To add your EXISTING/OPTIONAL ISRC Before Distribution
- When uploading your release, enter the song name and other information under the "Songs" section of the page
- Enter your existing ISRC in the "ISRC Number" field
- Click Save, and your existing ISRC will be saved until you're ready to upload your audio files
